Meximus is the latest addition to the Global food scene in Palasia area, and a really exciting one at that. It serves innovative dishes by combining together an interesting array of quality ingredients, with cheese from breads and dressings from middle-east. Also, Meximus is as good as it gets, and holds its own with class.

The décor of Mexiumus was pretty normal, cafe like not extraordinary. But it was very tasteful and comfortable, with the restaurant stretching on the floor with a open counter to order. There is also a North Indian food options here in Meximus with seasonal all paneer dishes, kofta’s, and other creative and reasonably priced rice dishes such as Biryani, Pulaav, Khichdi and Desserts.

We visited Meximus for lunch, to try their special ‘Mexican and Lebanese’ set lunch menu which features dishes from various categories – Wraps, Falafel, Rice bowl, salad and dessert, all at a very reasonable price. This wonderful menu is available all the time without interruption.

It is recommended  to not try Indian traditional food at a Multi-cuisine Restaurant, but at Meximus we had the Paneer tikka and dal makhani. Both were resounding fresh, with the tender paneer being with some fabulously crunchy onions, capsicum, cilantro and proper marination. It was refreshing and delicious, but a little too sharp on the palate. As for the Dal makhani with rice, this was very pleasant, especially with the crunchy roti’s, and desi onion salad.

We loved all the salads and I would easily go so far as to say these were the true highlights of our meal. The Lebanese salad with fried pita breads and olive oil tasted beautifully fresh and vibrant. There was also some fine black pepper running through the salad which added a hint of spice in it, all of which came together with a light and zesty hummus dressing. The pesto pasta salad with new and tasty pasta was also a winner with its earthiness. Some wonderfully crafted capsicum acted as garnish, and the dressing of mayonnaise, coriander, honey, chilli and lemon was delightful with some crispy onions adding an enjoyable crunchiness to the dish.

The lunch and dinner menu at Meximus was incredible. It was incredible because for average INR150 a dish, we got some sensational cooking and wonderful flavor combinations that seem to come alive on our palates. This was cooking with flair, the result of which was food that was alive, vibrant and really enjoyable. The service was very accommodative and charming as well. Weekday lunch at Meximus is great value and not to be missed.
